Last week, Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States, and a few days afterward, legendary comedian Dave Chappelle hosted Saturday Night Live. On a sadder note, the journalism world recently lost the illustrious Gwen Ifill, who died Monday due to complications of cancer. Danielle reflects upon the dual impact Ifill had on her as both an African-American and female leader in the industry for so many years.
