    Just like we all expected, last’s year’s Super Bowl runner-ups are 1-5 to start the season.

    *record scratch* Wait, what?

    Yes, after losing a shootout against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Carolina Panthers are 1-5 to start the 2016 season, leaving many NFL fans to wonder … what the heck happened?

    The Panthers don’t have much to be happy about so far, and key evidence of this is reigning MVP quarterback Cam Newton’s postgame news conference Sunday.

    Also, slide over Tom Brady, there’s a new record-holder in town, and his name is Dak … Dak Prescott. He now has the Dallas Cowboys on a five-game winning streak and looking like a strong contender in the NFC. Tony Romo, you should start looking at new cribs, because there’s a new QB in Big D.

    Canadian Ed Whitlock just ran a marathon in 3 hours, 56 minutes and 38 seconds. Oh, did I mention that he’s 85 years old?
