After a brief hiatus from Twitter, @Lesdoggg came back like she never left. The comedian kicked off her birthday month week by tweeting about her days, different shows she’s watched and entertaining followers with videos donning various Snapchat filters. On Tuesday, Jones enjoyed a fun-filled night at a Kanye West concert, giving her followers a play-by-play of her night composed of a series of videos, pictures and tweets.

This year has been a whirlwind of highs and lows for Jones, and it’s amazing to see her taking time out to enjoy her birthday week the way she wants to. The most admirable characteristic of the comedian is her ability to rise above the hate and negativity often hurled by trolls daily. Through it all, Jones bounces back while continuing to invite those who love and adore her most to share in her laughter and joy. It’s evident in her bubbly personality, her social media platforms and her work. It’s something we could all learn from.
