Jackson State’s Sonic Boom of the South and S.C. State’s Marching 101 get set to square off in Atlanta to claim the HBCU musical spotlight

There was a shift in the polls for our Division I and Division II rankings to end the 2021 college football season

The Marching Storm leapfrogs N.C. A&T while The ROAR makes some noise in moving up in Division II

There are new bands in the rankings for both divisions

FMU’s ROAR Marching Band and Allen’s Band of Gold were in The Undefeated’s last band rankings

Our bands are back! We’re loving it, and these rankings judge them on music, precision, dance and drum majors

They are now dealing with safety protocols, lack of practice and slow recruitment of new members

These two have done consistently well all season in musicality and percussion
