We’re not exactly sure what gymnast Simone Biles does to maintain her magic.

Maybe it’s a pep talk before each performance, or perhaps a daily sprinkle of greatness over each meal. Whatever it is, we like it and frankly, we wish we had it.

After being too young to qualify for the 2012 Olympics in London, Biles was able to show the world what they were missing during this year’s Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she earned five medals, four of them gold. Did we mention it was her first Olympics?

On Wednesday, the world watched as Biles took the floor in her final routine of the Summer Games. It was a routine that Biles has performed many times before, but the difficult combinations, high flips and heightened level of energy left the audience captivated every single time. Biles moved with grace and what appeared to be very little effort while sticking nearly every landing with ease. The end of her routine drew roars from a satisfied crowd and the biggest smile Biles could muster as she acknowledged the thousands watching her.

In an interview with the Sporting News shortly after winning her second gold medal of the games for the women’s individual all-around, Biles made it clear that she’s setting her own standards in the world of gymnastics. “I’m not the next Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps,” she said. “I’m the first Simone Biles.”

And that’s only fair.

Simone, you leave us with hope.

You continue to awe those who came before you and inspire those who are training to become the next you.

You have become the U.S. women’s most decorated gymnast of all time. Let’s not forget you’re only 19 years old.
