GAME. BLOUSES.
If you went to bed early during Thursday night’s NFL season opener between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, you missed a close, late game — and more pain for reigning MVP quarterback Cam Newton. The Broncos were in Newton’s grill for the vast majority of the night, punishing him with multiple helmet-to-helmet hits that went uncalled.

But before Panthers kicker Graham Gano missed a go-ahead 50-yard field goal with little time remaining, Newton at least got to unleash his newest end zone celebration. The dab is dead, and in its place now is … the Milly Rock.

Credit, though, must still go to the Broncos and their terrorizing defense. Despite multiple questionable hits (many of which left fans asking why Newton wasn’t being looked at by doctors under concussion protocol), the Broncos defense was the best unit on the field Thursday night, and because of that, a quarterback named Trevor Siemian is now 1-0.
