What Had Happened Was: 9/12/16

Oh, you don’t know? We got you.

GAME. BLOUSES.

The first official week of the NFL regular season is in the books, fam. There were more athletes willing to join San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in standing up (or sitting, or kneeling) against injustice. There were dope, crazy late-game gambles. There was a New England Patriots team missing its two best players, but still beating one of the best teams in the league. And, of course, there was that familiar Dallas Cowboys pain.

Missed any of it this weekend? All good. Here’s the best of what we witnessed:

And, of course, there was THIS over the weekend, too.

BLESSINGS!

In the middle of Beyoncé performing Single Ladies during one of the stops of her Formation tour, the boyfriend of one of her backup dancers appeared onstage. The music stopped, and Beyoncé allowed him to say his piece, which concluded in him asking his girlfriend if she would marry him. He thus put a ring on it. Queen Bey and the rest of her dancers, as well as the crowd, joined in on congratulating the couple.
