The trial against ex-South Carolina police officer Michael Slager, who killed Walter Scott by shooting him in the back multiple times as he ran away, and then planted a Taser next to his body, was officially deemed a mistrial. The judge asked jurors to reconsider their decision this past Friday, after it was reported that one juror would not give a guilty verdict.
