This Mannequin Challenge showcases police brutality

The new internet phenomenon known to the world as the #MannequinChallenge has now become a part of the Black Lives Matter movement. The minute-long video directed by actress Simone Shepherd recounts the events of the recent violence committed against black people at the hands of law enforcement.

The clip demonstrates in different versions and a few depictions of what happens when blacks interact with police. Titled #BlackAndBlue, the video recreates the events that led to the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland, Alton Sterling and Philando Castille.

This version of the viral Mannequin Challenge far surpasses the fun, everyday actions of students, organizations and other participants around the world.
