Most Undefeated moments: ‘2016 BET Hip Hop Awards’

See what powerful poetry you missed

The 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards were on Tuesday and you’d have to be a fool if you didn’t think anyone was going to speak out about all that’s going on in our country.

Here are the most powerful moments from the show.

Lecrae lets loose

Lecrae didn’t have any backup dancers, flashy backdrops or even a beat. But he captured an entire stage with his powerful verse. Watch it below.

T.I. talks the topic.

It might be going under the radar because these songs aren’t as radio-friendly as “whatever you like,” but T.I. has been dropping some heat lately. His BET performance was the song We Will Not, where he had some pretty powerful lyrics.

You can watch his BET performance here.

Here is the music video for the song.

This isn’t T.I.’s only song that speaks about injustices. For example, his song Warzone has pretty powerful lyrics and a thought-provoking music video as well. Check it out.

Big K.R.I.T. speaks

While a lot of people think the rapper Big K.R.I.T. is underrated, he has been one of the best and most powerful lyricists for a while now.

The performance received a standing ovation from the crowd with a majority of people lifting up the Black Power fist with K.R.I.T.

Powerful.
