LeBron James asks for ice cream — and gets it, big time
‘Having an ice cream truck outside both arenas at the same time — icing on the cake’

I scream, you scream, and LeBron James, apparently, all scream for ice cream.
At least, that’s what the Cleveland Cavaliers forward said when asked what could make Tuesday night’s NBA season opener against the New York Knicks even better.
“I don’t know,” James said last week, “having an ice cream truck outside both arenas at the same time as well — icing on the cake.”
Not all heroes wear capes, friends, because as soon as the quote started circulating around the web, Blue Bunny Ice Cream responded to the call on Monday.
Hey Cleveland, @KingJames asked for an ice cream truck to make tomorrow even more fun. Free ice cream is coming – see you soon! #WonForAll pic.twitter.com/mndv7TsJtB

Now fans heading to Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field, where the Cleveland Indians will welcome the Chicago Cubs for Game 1 of the World Series, can get themselves some frozen dessert — free of charge.
The NBA moved the Cavs’ home opener up 30 minutes to accommodate fans trying to enjoy both games.
James & Co. will watch as their championship banner is raised to the rafters and will also receive their championship rings on Tuesday night. The Cavaliers became the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals. James helped the Cavaliers win their first title, by bringing the team back from the brink of elimination by beating the Golden State Warriors.
