The Lean In campaign has expanded and it keeps giving. It urges young women to rely on each other for mentorship. Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg started encouraging women in her 2013 best-selling book Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, co-authored with Nell Scovell. In 2014, she followed up with another book, Lean In For Graduates, which encouraged women of color and recent grads.

Sandberg launched #LeanInTogether as part of the Together Women Can campaign. Now, other women are leaning in to help spread the word. Tennis player Serena Williams, actress Kerry Washington and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly have all joined in.

According to the Lean In website, “women accomplish amazing things when we support each other.”

“When a woman helps another woman, they both benefit. And when women celebrate one another’s accomplishments, we’re all lifted up. Together, women can do more, go further and change the world. Let’s #LeanInTogether,” the site reads.
