Love him or hate him, James Harden is one of the hardest players to guard in the NBA and the lefty will be entering his seventh season overall. In more on the court news, Harden should have his usual highlight-filled season, while one specific teammate has set some lofty goals for him and the Rockets for next year. According to Basketball Insiders writer Oliver Maroney, Rockets guard Patrick Beverley told them “MVP and leading us to the Finals. Simple.”
OK, it’s not going to be simple, but Harden had a strong MVP campaign two years ago. It wouldn’t be weird if he was back in the running again this year.
