Former NFL player and motivational speaker on a quest to find love

Stevie Baggs on the new season of ‘Match Made In Heaven’

Sometimes you need help from above to find your true love, right?

Well, apparently 34-year-old football journeyman Stevie Baggs, who’s played in the NFL and for Canadian teams, thinks he does. So much so that he is the star of this season’s WE tv show Match Made in Heaven, and he’s enlisted his pastor, his mother and actor/TV host Sherri Shepherd for help.

The hit reality dating competition allows Baggs to choose from 18 beautiful bachelorettes. The show returned on May 19.

The show features a twist. Baggs puts his faith in his outspoken mother Lola and Pastor Ken Johnson, a dynamic pastor and spiritual adviser to the Indianapolis Colts. Lola poses undercover while in the house and she is not putting up with some of the ladies’ shenanigans.

Check out this clip from the show and tune in every Thursday at 10pm et/pt.
