Fifth Harmony’s ‘That’s My Girl’ gets the U.S. women’s gymnastics team going

NBC Olympics released the official U.S. women’s gymnastics team pump-up song

As all of the world prepares to turn its attention to the 2016 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on Friday night, the U.S. women’s gymnastics team unleashed a hype video.

In the video, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian and Aly Raisman are tumbling, jumping, flipping and flying to new heights to the tune of music group Fifth Harmony’s That’s My Girl. The minute-long video released Wednesday was the sequel to a 30-second tease NBC did in May.

Trying to increase what has already been a heavily hyped-up unit, the extended video showed even more of the success, heartache and resilience of the five women representing the United States in gymnastics.
