At the seventh annual espnW: Women + Sports Summit last week, Champion chatted with longtime friend and colleague Hill and National Basketball Players Association executive director Michele Roberts to discuss leadership, excellence, pursuing one’s goals and more in Champion’s Be Honest podcast.

The summit is a focal point that brings women in sports together. Top athletes and sports industry leaders convened to discuss initiatives on the importance of women’s voices. The conversation was centered on the theme of “Vision, Action, Impact.”

Hill hosted “In Pursuit of Excellence: World-Class Athletes of the Rio Olympics,” a panel that featured medal-winning women from this year’s Summer Olympics, including Maya DiRado (swimmer), Kayla Harrison (judo), Ashleigh Johnson and Maggie Steffens (water polo), Helen Maroulis (wrestler), Dalilah Muhammad (track and field).
