Cam Newton’s new show expected to make dreams come true

Watch: ‘All In with Cam,’ set for June 3

Cam Newton, the Carolina Panthers’ MVP quarterback, is taking his talents to Nickelodeon.

We’ve all seen Newton hand the football to an overwhelmed kid in the stands after he makes it into the end zone (and he gets in there a lot).

Now he’s taking his appreciation for his youngest fans to a whole new level. His new TV show All In with Cam Newton, is set to debut June 3, just in time for summer break.

Newton and the Carolina Panthers finished last season 17-1 before suffering a devastating 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. Few will forget the disappointment Newton suffered, but he didn’t miss more than a couple of beats. He started taping his new show shortly after the loss.

The motto “all in” is what Newton believed in when he was at Auburn. Nickelodeon announced in September that it was originally called I Wanna Be. All that changed to incorporate a piece of Newton and what has made him successful.

All In with Cam Newton will feature the first pick of the 2011 NFL draft helping kids fulfill some of their dreams. Kids will share a goal with Newton. He will pair each child with a mentor to help that goal come to life.

The show is expected to be funny and savvy, and the main goal is to showcase Newton as a person who can help make good things happen for children.

The 6-foot-5 dabbing machine will surprise one or two children in each episode. Thirty-four kids will appear in 20 episodes, the network announced.
