A night of stars and stripes

Draymond Green’s Game 6 jacket nearly upstages Jay Z and Queen Bey

Like many of his Golden State Warriors teammates this season, Draymond Green’s on-court persona has been aggressive, physical and fearless. Not surprisingly, his fashion choices tend to run in the same vein. But sometimes the Michigan-born power forward takes things all the way up – as Fat Joe, French Montana and ‘nem would say. Case in point: the white-and-blue striped jacket Green wore during his arrival stroll into Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena before Game 6.

Beyoncé, on break from her sold-out Formation tour sat courtside with her husband, Jay Z. The Lemonade singer was resplendent in a long-sleeved cobalt blue pants suit by Altuzarra, and Gianvito Rossi’s neutral-hued high-heeled mules. The hip-hop mogul repped his company, Roc Nation, by wearing the “Crown Original Old School” hat, and sported a pair of Nike Air Force 1 High 07 sneakers. Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx was also there and wore nearly-matching black everything: baseball hat, jersey shirt and denim.

The Cavs pulled off a 115-101 win against the Warriors, forcing a Game 7. The two teams will meet again for a nail-biting finale on Sunday in Oakland, California’s, Oracle Arena.
