11-year-old makes bold move in an attempt to get signed by Justin Bieber
Sean-Michael Gore was ready with ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’
Most people are afraid to pursue their dreams, let alone grab the microphone at a Justin Bieber concert and belt out Who’s Lovin’ You.
Well, Sean-Michael Gore is not “most people.” The bold 11-year-old took his shot during a concert as part of Bieber’s Purpose World Tour and nailed it!
Sean-Michael, a singer and dancer, is part of a boy band composed of his two older brothers called The Gore Boyz. After winning an online contest, he was selected as a special guest to perform a dance routine with Bieber alongside two other young dancers.
When the song ended, Sean-Michael was not done.
“Can I ask you a question?” Sean-Michael asked Bieber. “If I audition for you right now, would you, like, have an option to sign me?”
Bieber handed Gore the microphone, and he broke out the Jackson 5 tune in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 15,000 fans. Bieber later posted photos of himself and Sean-Michael on Instagram. The post received more than a million likes.
According to the Gaston Gazette in North Carolina, The Gore Boyz started performing together at a school talent show in 2009. This year their song, TGB Handclap (Superman like Cam), became a viral hit when it was released on Super Bowl Sunday in January.
The Gore Boyz have been touring ever since, performing across the country. It’s evident that little Sean-Michael is fearless, bold and will not be held back.
